The Blink Bowl for cycling was awarded to
Mr Justice Starleigh for services to cycling at
Harpenden Common G.C. and for being a jolly
good chap!

My sincere thanks goes to Peter Magnus who
excelled himself this year with the menu card. It
featured the many faces of Mr Pickwick, from his © Stan Rose
own collection of memorabilia and was a work of
art. Hang onto your menu, if you have one, as I am
sure they will become collector’s items

The collection raised £184.33 for charity.

I look forward to next year's Golf day when, hope
fully, we shall have a few more members and
guests attending.

The Menu members photographs were actually mine
and Peter Magnus failed in his duty to ask
permission to use them. He has since been
sentenced to spend one year in the Fleet Prison
where he will repent.
