As one of the organisers of the Hampton Court Ride, I know how difficult it is to get events
off the ground, so come along on October 6 and join in – everyone is welcome. Details were

Party in December.

Finally on behalf of the Club, I would like to thank Sergeant Buzfuz (Stephen Downham) ,
our Honorary Secretary for his loyal service, and the hours of time that he has given to our
Club for over 20 years, and hope that his retirement and life ‘down under’ is to his liking.
Wishing Stephen the best of health and happiness with his family.

My year isn’t over yet but it’s been an honour to serve you all.

We now have a special comment from The President’s Lady Wife

As Mr Pickwick’s lady wife, I was honoured to be invited to the President’s Spring Luncheon at
the Connaught Rooms in May of this year. It was an absolute pleasure to be at such a milestone
event as this, and all of the other ladies that I spoke to had a fabulous Vme.

It was so interesVng to see and hear all of the Pickwickian customs that go towards making the
Club the iconic insVtute that it is.

I now know and understand, just why my husband is so proud to be a member and in parVcular
to be President this year.
