I received various letters etc for this issue for which I thank you, and these can be seen
elsewhere in the magazine, however this letter from Mr Dumkins is a request for help to all
members, so please help him if you can.

My Fellow Pickwickian Cyclists, I am compiling a photographic and cinematic library of
The Pickwick Bicycle Club and need your help.
Do you have pictures of club events and luncheons going back over many years? If so I
need your help. My aim is to digitally store a comprehensive library of articles, events,
members & luncheons going back as far as we can. I can handle photographs in any
format, printed to digital, colour and black&white, and can retouch/correct any damaged
ones.I can receive them either electronically or by post on disc, USB stick or as actual
photographs that I can scan and return. Any media sent to me, will be returned via a
secure courier service.
If you are able to help me with this project, it will be appreciated, and please provide
as much information as you can, for example dates, places and names. You can do this by
attaching a separate sheet of paper or document with the details identifying the
relevant photos. Please do not worry if you cannot be precise about the details, I still
want your pictures! As multiple files can be quite large (I do not recommend sending them
by email if the attachment is over 10MB), I have a file transfer service that you can use
very easily, and if you contact me, I will forward you a link and instructions.
