Cycling

Initially the club was actively engaged in cycling with bi-weekly runs (normally between April and October) on Wednesday and Saturday. The club continued as an active cycling club until the commencement of the Second World War. Not the least bearing in mind the many Club Members who are currently involved with cycling in one way or the other, an annual cycle ride was reinstated in 1986 and takes place on the first Sunday of July at Benson in Oxfordshire.
