Just to reassure you, I didn’t crash into the child on his balance bike!
Having acquired the Grand Old Ordinary Trophies for the club, we were unable to hold the
races in 2021, but are hoping to get agreement to hold them at the Goodwood Eroica
Britannia being held 6 – 7 August 2022.

Our first meeting post-pandemic was the Hampton Court ride in October 2021, and thanks
to Hunt and Pruffle for organising a great event. There were 40 members and guests
attending and after a gentle ride, we enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Hampton Court Motor
Yacht Club – a great venue for future years.
Despite the lack of meetings there has been much going on behind the scenes, and I thank
the Committee and Officers for their support during my extended tenure as your President.
I was delighted to pass over the President’s medal to Hunt at our Garden Party in December
2021.
Thank you for supporting my chosen charity of Prostate Cancer UK and I am pleased to
confirm that together we raised £4,009 to help fund research that will, one day, end this
disease and save countless men’s lives.
It has been an honour to serve as your President for the last two years, and I pass the
mantle on to Mr Pickwick (Hunt) wishing him every success during his Presidency.
