The Luncheon Guest list introduced by Charley the Pot-Boy
Firstly, on Table 26 welcome to our most senior member, Soloman Pell/Don McKellow, our
oldest member! Don competed for GB in the 1952 Helsinki Games riding the 1000metres
time-trial, finishing 5 just 2 seconds outside the World Record.

On table 6, guest of Jackson, we welcome Jeremy Chandler who is a member of the Club des
Cents Cols, having climbed on a self-propelled bicycle over 100 different Cols with 5 being
over 2000m altitude.
On table 21, guests of Dr Slammer, we welcome his three son-in-laws!
On table 17, guests of Brown of Muggleton, we welcome Simon Lillistone, a Team GB track
rider at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and 1992 Barcelona Olympics. At London Olympics 2012 he
led the delivery of all the cycling events with 100 staff, 100 contractors and over 1000
volunteers.
On table 18, guest of Mr Pickwick we welcome Andrew Coombes who, for 15 years has
designed and printed our tickets and menu cards for our luncheons.
On table 15, guest of Mr Ayersleigh, is Paul Kirby who was Production Designer for many
films including Kingsman: The Secret Service, Cinderella and Shazan! Fury of the Gods and
was also in Phantom of the Opera.
On table 10, guest of Mr Justice Stareleigh is Phil Liggett, well known for his coverage of
The Tour de France and many Olympic Games.
And finally our Guest speaker Adger Brown, …. I will leave you to research this one!
