                               Legro’s LEJOG
Club member David Le Grys/The Cobbler, former National Sprint Champion and
Commonwealth Games silver medalist, is embarking along with friends on the Lands End to
John O’Groats 930 mile cycling marathon in aid of Prostate Cancer. More than just your
regular cyclist, Dave has been a major player in the
cycling world for many years, not just participating,
but organising the whole package including training
camps in Majorca. However in 2021 he is aiming to
swap the sun of the Balearics in exchange for the
UK’s finest weather patterns to raise as much money
as possible for the Prostate Cancer UK fund -
‘because it affects people’s lives’. As with all such
Charity Rides he needs YOUR support, both on the
road if he passes near you or why not visit his Just
Giving site and support the charity. Courtesy	of	Dave’s	Just	Giving	Site

Front Cover - Ch XLII…….Mr Pickwick finds Alfred Jingle

    “The general aspect of the room recalled him to himself at once;
but he had no sooner cast his eyes on the figure of a man who was
brooding over the dusty fire, than, letting his hat fall to the
floor, he stood perfectly fixed and immovable with astonishment.
Yes; in catered garment, and without a coat; his common calico
shirt yellow and in rags; his hair hanging over his face; his
features changed with suffering ,and pinched with famine; there
sat Mr Alfred Jingle: his head resting on his hand, his eyes fixed
upon the fire, and his whole appearance denoting misery and
                                                               The	current	Mr	Alfred
