Keith was always thinking about the Pickwick Bicycle Club and every year he would
produce a picture, such as the one above, for everyone who took part in the annual
Hampton Court Ride after it was re-introduced in 2007. Previous examples have
appeared in this magazine. He also prepared special menu cards - well more like
folders, for the Past President’s luncheon. He seemed to have the happy knack of
knowing what suited the occasion and delivered. He provided the Editor with a book
of Pickwick Papers images of various characters, from those used on the coasters
that all guests receive at the luncheons, to an eclectic collection of cigarette cards
depicting more characters. We will miss those thoughtful contributions.
