How to put Club attire to good use……………..

I received the following missive from Bill the Turnkey some months ago and with apologies to
him completely forgot to include it in the October magazine:

A[er my good wife baking a rather deligh\ul simnel
cake, it was duly wrapped with the Pickwick Hatband.
A fi^ng use of our uniform I am sure you will agree..
I wonder if other members have found good use for
parts of our uniform?

A Possible Caption Competition?

Another recent missive, this time from Peter Magnus (Keith Robins), provides for thought
about resurrecting the Caption Competition. Peter has provided his own, but if you can think
of alternatives (polite ones!) then send them to me. (Ed)

Dear Mr Editor
Thank you for your recent Pickwick Magazine . Having
just moved and getting better from my long list of
medical problems I am unloading boxes my daughter
packed in the loft and now emptying them into my
office in our new Bungalow I did not know I had so much
junk and achieve material in my loft. I am finding so
much interesting material I am being badgered by HER
INDOORS (Bless Her Heart) for not empty the boxes
quickly enough. I have quite a bit to send to you when I
get time. But I thought this photograph of Ken Joy on a
record attempt would be a good photo the members to
give the captions to--------Is she pointing the Way?
