Sgt Buzfuz our erstwhile Secretary, then sprang to his feet to welcome four new
members to our Club, who made the expected suitable noises when given their soubriquets.
They were: Michael Gruetzner - Mr Gunter; Richard Jack - Whiffers; Sascha Kaltwasser
- Henry Beller; Simon Panter - Mr Price. They were warmly welcomed by the ensemble,
and it is hoped that they will give much time to the club activities in the future.

Our Captain then welcomed our guest speaker Jed
Stone. Jed is an old visitor to Club functions, and is well
known for his hilarious delivery and is eminently
watchable. An avid football fan(atic), his aim is to work
at all 92 football league clubs in some way or other. He
kept us suitably amused for some time before concluding
with the toast to the “Immortal Memory of the Club”.

Your President, then rose to his full height-he is tall, and thanked
everyone for the privilege of being elected to hold the mantle of
Samuel Pickwick and hoped that he could maintain the high standard
of office during the remainder of his tenure. Members were then
requested to raise their glasses and toast the guests.
