2020 and the PBC 150th Anniversary Plans Roll On

Samkin and his special committee have been very active in their deliberations for

the upcoming celebrations of the Club’s 150 anniversary. If you look back at your March
issue you will see the list of ideas on page 19.

The commemorative pin badge now exists. As you can see
from the picture, this will be a delightful addition to your
uniform, to wear with pride.

The Leather bound register to be signed by all members as at
June 22 2020, is progressing rapidly. A real work of art
nd
featuring the stunning bookbinding craftsmanship of a quality
which sadly is a rapidly disappearing art form. These pages are
intended to ‘give you a flavour’ so not all will be revealed just
yet, but you will see as part of this report, some of the stages of the work process and
the intricate detail required to provide the Club with a permanent and long lasting record
of membership henceforth.
