My route was cycling around the island starting and finishing in Santa Lucia (near Milazzo)
first travelling in a westerly direction, 17 cycling days, and total of 900km=559miles. My
suggestion for any followers is to do this trip in early spring, enjoy lots of hills and use the
Lonely Planet guide book. Sincerely Helmut
